[XO Wave-Announce] XO Wave version 0.18.2 now availale

XO Wavers:

 	XO Wave version 0.18.2 (Beta) is now available from 
www.xowave.com. The biggest changes involve some rewrites to the Audio 
Unit code, so XO Wave should work with more audio units and be more stable 
even in the presence of poorly behaved audio units. In addition, 
there are some major improvements to CD Text and CD sub-code data. A 
full change-list is below.

Changes:
- fixed bug that allowed locked regions to be "trimmed over" with a multi-track trim edit.
- increased wait time for reconnections in XOmux to prevent AE disconnects.
- provided work-around for bug that caused NPE when trimming a region.
- did some cleanup of the AU initialization code. Also increased debugging info.
- added preference for AU readout hold time
- added preference for AU meter update interval
- improved string shortening. should work reasonably well for romance languages and just truncate for other languages.
- increased font size of parameter text field.
- fixed a few bugs related to CD Text ISRC and MCNs
- menu item Offline Manager renamed to Offline Operations Manager
- made default height limit for AU 200, rather than no-limit.
- added ability to skip known bad Audio Units.
- fixed drop-down display in AU.
- improved reconnect performance by reducing the amount of AU data acquired in AE startup. this should also fix problems associated with AE crashes.
- postponed getting preset AU info -- seems to improve compatibility
- improved preset restoration code. LPGE and betabugs crayon filter no longer crash when restoring presets.
- Audio Units can now be chosen directly from the insert effect dialog.
- made sure "CD Text" was used in place of "CDText" and "CD-Text"
- fixed pre-roll bug.
- added option for either putting spots of silence in the audio units or bypassing them. Updated a corresponding error message and incremented ignore messages.
- fixed bug with undo/redo of plug-in presets.
- added support for metering more than 32 parameters (required for a few obscure AUs)
- cursor in edit window's new track area is now Vertical beam selection tool, which corresponds correctly to its function.
- fixed bug that causes crash when deleting a track while showing automation.
- added ability to set audio unit render quality, for audio units that support it.
- disabled altiverb 5 automation as it is buggy.
- fixed bug that allowed locked regions to be over-written when copying across tracks or from the region bin.
